if you are pushing the limits and working in an exciting, dynamic environment there is always the possibility of an accident. As an outdoor practitioner you need to be prepared for such eventualities and know your first aid. First aid in the outdoors presents its own unique challenges. You need to have the first aid skills but you also need to be able to perform those skills in an environment that could be wet, windy, muddy and remote from immediate help. This course gives you the skills and confidence to perform in these situations. It is very practical and based on ideas that have been developed by experienced instructors with a long history of working in the outdoors.
This award is recognised by the Health & Safety Executive, and by National Governing Bodies such as the BCU, MLTE and RYA.
