British Orienteering Coach –Level 1 and level 2 award
The British Orienteering Federation (BOF) Level 1 Coach is an NGB award that equips you with the necessary qualification and organise groups to participate in and enjoy the sport of orienteering. It enables you to teach basic orienteering techniques in an effective and safe manner and how to organise simple orienteering exercises for groups. It also equips you with further understanding of how the sport operates and how to operate safely in different environments.
This award builds as a series toward some of the higher BOF awards. The Cornwall Outdoors programme will provide the necessary training and assessment for you to complete this award before the instructor programme closes.
