RYA Sail and Powerboat courses for 2012
RYA Level one. Start Sailing. Duration: 2 days. Cost £150 per person
An introduction to sailing for novices. By the end of the course participants will have a basic understanding of boat handling techniques and background knowledge.

March 5th and 6th
March 19th and 20th
April 2nd and 3rd
April 10th and 11th
April 23rd and 24th
RYA level two. Basic skills. Duration: 2 days. Cost £150 per person
On completion of this course the successful sailor will be safety conscious, have a basic knowledge of sailing and will be capable of sailing without an instructor on board in light winds. Level one start sailing must be completed before moving on to level two.

RYA level three. Better Sailing. Duration: 2 days. Cost £150 per person
On completion of this course the successful sailor will be safety conscious, have a better knowledge of sailing and will be capable of sailing without an instructor on board in light to moderate conditions. Level two basic skills must be completed before moving on to level three.

RYA Level two Powerboat Duration: 2 days. Cost £150 per person
This two-day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.
It includes close quarters handling, high speed manoeuvres, man overboard recovery and collision regulations.

RYA Safety Boat. Cost £150 per person
This two-day course provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, or for racing or training activities.
It includes rescue techniques and elements of race management and mark laying.
